Prep football: Mount Vernon 13, Sedro-Woolley 7

SEDRO-WOOLLEY -- Brandon Hayman and Tristan Brock each scored on 5-yard runs in the first quarter and the Mount Vernon defense forced five turnovers to hold off Sedro-Woolley in a non-conference game. Bulldogs safety Robert Monroe accounted for three turnovers with two interceptions and a fumble recovery.
