MOUNT VERNON — The first full day of deliberations in the trial of adopted parents charged with homicide by abuse began with a juror being dismissed.
KING-TV reported that the juror discussed the case with his wife who works for the Skagit County prosecutor’s office.
In other developments, jurors listened again to both the 911 call and taped police interview with Carri Williams.
She wiped her eyes as the recordings were played. Jurors did not look moved in any way.
Larry and Carri Williams are charged with starving their adopted daughter and allowing her to die from hypothermia with malnutrition and a stomach condition as contributing factors.
Deliberations will continue Monday.
