On behalf of the YWCA of Seattle-King-Snohomish County and the 257 children in our housing and support services, thank you so very much for your financial and in-kind donations to our School Days program this year. As school budgets shrink, families are being asked to provide more and more of the required school supplies. It can be a daunting and expensive list. Without the tremendous support from this community, less fortunate children are forced to start school without the necessary supplies.
Thanks to the many businesses and individuals who help out our children by providing brand new backpacks filled with necessary tools to start school. Again and again this community lends a helping hand to families enrolled in our housing, counseling, and employment programs. We are truly grateful to this wonderful community of caring individuals, businesses and organizations that work together to support the less fortunate families in Snohomish County. It truly does take a village of concerned community members to help all our children succeed.
