The Jackson football team will unveil its new Timberwolves Tunnel at tonight’s game against Everett School District-rival Everett at Everett Memorial Stadium at 8 p.m.
Funding for the tunnel was raised by the Jackson Football Booster Club and is the culmination of 14 months of planning and fundraising by the booster club and the local Mill Creek community, according to a press release.
The tunnel will be present at all four Jackson home games.

The first home game will be on September 13, 8pm, at Everett Memorial Stadium.
The Jackson Football Booster Club, through the generous support of Columbia Funding Mortgage and The Run of the Mill 5K, are pleased to announce that the new Timberwolves Tunnel will be at each home game this season. This is the culmination of 14 months of planning and fundraising by the booster club and the local community.
Jackson High School football is the defending Wesco champion, having won Wesco in 2003, 2008, 2009, 2010 &2012. The team this year will be led by senior captains Jake Miles, John-Robert Woolley, Nick White and Trey Robinson.
This season’s four home games at Everett Memorial where the tunnel will be used are:
September 13 vs. Everett 8pm
September 20 vs. Glacier Peak 5pm
October 4 vs. Kamiak 8pm
October 11 vs. Mariner 7pm
