Flying pumpkins: Medieval catapults will send pumpkins into the air to kick off harvest season at the Snohomish Pumpkin Hurl and Medieval Faire on Saturday and Sunday. There will be jousting, medieval-themed kids activities, educational programs featuring authentic, antique weaponry, food and wine tasting. More information here.
Big fish, little poles: Fish for pink and coho salmon during a kid pole fishing derby on Saturday in Snohomish. There are divisions for men, women and children, but everybody has to use a kid pole. Food, prizes and more. Find out more here.

Mexican Independence Day
