GRANTS PASS, Ore. — A Southern Oregon woman is being sought after missing a court date on charges she hoarded and abused dozens of animals.
The Grants Pass Daily Courier reported that an arrest warrant has been issued for 62-year-old Kandi Lucile Crow.
Josephine County authorities seized 200 animals, most of them miniature horses, from her ranch outside Cave Junction last September.
In court, Deputy District Attorney Ryan Mulkins told the judge that authorities had gone “to great effort” to arrange a plea bargain with Crow.
At the hearing was Marty Noles of Hood River, who bought one of the miniature horses seized by the county. He says the horse, named Little Bit O’ Magic, was in terrible shape, but is now doing very well.
