Learn how to survive disasters in 30 minutes

Are you prepared for an emergency? We're talking a disaster. Anything from a power outage to earthquake mayhem.
You can find out things you need to know at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 as the Monroe Library presents the Red Cross 30-minute Community Disaster Education presentation.
You will find out where to get a Red Cross kit packed with batteries, flashlight, first-aid items, emergency blankets and more. You will learn the steps to take when disaster strikes, and how to look out for your family, neighbors and anyone who may need special help.
The Monroe Library is at 1070 Village Way. Call 360-794-7851 for more information, and go to www.sno-isle.org for more library classes.
