Driver's ed course can save on car insurance

Time to hop in the way-back machine and transport yourself back to driver's ed. If you're 55 or older and you pay attention in class you will qualify for a car insurance discount.
That's almost as good as those exciting days in school when the reward was your first license.
The course is a good refresher on accident prevention, rules of the road and defensive driving techniques.
The AAA Driver Improvement Program, operated by American Driving Services, goes from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sons of Norway-Normanna Hall, 2725 Oakes Ave., Everett.
It costs $16 and you must register by calling 800-462-3728.
