Camano Island

Garnett right for fire commission

I want to encourage you to vote for Barbara Garnett for Position 4, Camano Island Fire Commissioner.
I have known Barbara for over 30 years and worked with her as a peer manager at U.S. West Communications.
Barbara has an extensive business background and a proven track record as a successful and skillful team member, leader and negotiator. She is an excellent communicator who strives for clarity, commitment and transparency. She will provide analytical, logical and thoughtful process to financial decisions.
Barbara has a strong working knowledge of past and current issues facing the commission: she has been a regular attendee at commission meetings for four years, and has worked alongside volunteer battalion chiefs in developing and implementing a campaign to increase the number of volunteer firefighters on Camano Island.
Additionally, she will provide needed diversity to the board and representation that will ensure all community concerns are heard.
