Wii will, Wii will rock you: Seattle Mariners majority owner Hiroshi Yamauchi, the Japanese billionaire who turned Nintendo into a video game powerhouse, has died.

No soup for you: Republicans in the U.S. House voted to slash $40 billion from the food assistance program commonly referred to as food stamps. The cuts would reduce or eliminate aid for 4 million Americans and end school lunches for 200,000 children.
When asked what those same Americans should do when hungry, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Versailles, replied: “Let them drink tea.”
