Weekend fun: Block party, farms, gardening, more

Anniversary bash: Head down to Everett’s Comcast Arena Block Party from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Hewitt Avenue will be closed off for the center’s 10-year birthday celebration. There will be music, food and games for all ages at the center at Hewitt and Broadway.

Run! Go out for a 5K. We promise this one will keep you interested. The Bubble Run features giant foam “bogs” that you run through every morning. The fun starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at Comcast Arena. Get more info and register here.

Winter’s not here, yet: Learn how to winterize your garden before the snow flies at a workshop at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lynnwood Senior Center. Urban camping: Imagine Children’s Museum launches a new interactive camping exhibit with Derby Days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Seattle Aquarium, Western Wildlife and Everett Parks and Rec will have booths outside the museum.
