Register now for the third annual “Sound Living — a One Day Communiversity,” which takes place Nov. 9 at Everett Community College.
The seminar, sponsored by the WSU Snohomish County Extension Beach Watchers and the city of Mukilteo, will be a chance to learn what advances are being made to protect and preserve the Sound area’s wildlife and resources.
Presentations include climate, innovations, water, wildlife, ecosystems and stewardship at home and include topics such as the giant Pacific octopus, underwater photography and Puget Sound’s glacial history.
Registration is $30 per person. Active students and military service members pay $20 per person.
