Schack-toberfest, a four-day autumn festival, stars the glass pumpkin patch, which sells more than 300 hand-blown glass pumpkins made in the Schack’s hot shop.
Other family-friendly festival activities include a demonstration of carving real (not glass) pumpkins, classes in how to make your own glass (not real) pumpkins and fun for kids.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, plus “Beer and Brat Night” from 5 to 9 p.m. for those 21 and older; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Schack Art Center, 2941 Hoyt St., Everett. Daytime activities are free.
For Beer and Brat Night, Camano Island’s String Slingers will provide music, and beer, bratwurst and hard cider will be available. Tickets are $25 for Schack members, $30 for nonmembers, and include a souvenir glass.
