LYNNWOOD -- Investigators concluded that someone intentionally set last week's fire that destroyed a house in the Alderwood Manor area in south Snohomish County.
About six people were able to escape the blaze at the two-story house in the 1800 block of 204th Place SW, an area in unincorporated Lynnwood. The fire broke out around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday.
It caused more than $250,000 in damage, according to Fire District 1 spokeswoman Leslie Hynes.
Snohomish County Fire Marshal's Office is leading the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 800-552-7766.
There is a reward of up to $10,000 from the Arson Alarm Foundation for information leading to the arrest and criminal conviction of the person responsible for setting the fire.
