Suspect sought in 2 barista robberies

EVERETT -- Police are investigating two robberies reported Monday evening at bikini barista stands along Highway 99 south of Everett.
The first robbery happened about 6:30 p.m. at the Twin Peaks espresso stand at 11323 Highway 99, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. A barista there set off a silent alarm after a man held her up at gunpoint.
About 10 minutes later, a similar robbery was reported at the Java Juggs stand at 11701 Highway 99.
The suspect was described as white and wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. He was driving a white Honda sedan.
