BOISE, Idaho — A Boise man who police say was involved in a hit-and-run that killed a Garden City bicyclist has been taken into custody.
Thirty-one-year-old Gavin B. Haley was arrested Friday on suspicion of felony leaving the scene of an injury crash.
Police said they have Haley’s 2003 black Land Rover and that it’s evidence in the case.
The body of 53-year-old Victor Haskell was found about 8:30 a.m. Thursday on a sidewalk near State Street and 30th Avenue N.
The Ada County Coroner’s Office said Haskell died of blunt force trauma.
Haley is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
