Everett vs. Kelowna lineup notes

EVERETT

Forward lines:
Leedahl-Bauml-Aasman
Low-Hayer-Stadnyk
Winquist-Khaira-Sandhu
Fonteyne-Nikolishin-Bajkov

Defensive pairings:
Mueller-Adam
Pufahl-Juulsen
Betker-Davis

Starting goaltender:
Cotton

Scratches: Zipp, Skrumeda, MacDonald, Skapski, Penner.

Notes: This is Everett's first game since winger Reid Petryk was traded, so the Tips no longer have to make a decision on which overager to scratch. Logan Aasman steps into Petryk's spot on the right wing alongside Kohl Bauml and Dawson Leedahl. Winger Matt Fonteyne makes his season debut as the Tips dress all four of their 16-year-olds. Daniel Cotton gets his second straight start in goal.

KELOWNA

Forward lines:
Goulbourne-Merkley-Baillie
Franko-Olsen-Bell
Nyberg-Chartier-Heffley
Kirkland-Linaker-Schmidli

Defensive pairings:
Martin-Severson
Lees-Bowey
Stadel-Yorke

Starting goaltender:
Whistle

Scratches: Wheaton, Rigby, Glover, Johnston, Gatenby.

Notes: Kelowna is without winger Carter Rigby and defenseman Mitchell Wheaton, who are both recovering from shoulder surgery. The Rockets still have four overagers, so defenseman MacKenzie Johnston is the odd-man out tonight. Goaltender Jackson Whistle gets his first game of the season.
