Making Strides of Everett will host a walk from 9 a.m. to noon, Oct. 20 at the Snohomish County Courthouse Plaza, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., to raise money to fight breast cancer. For more information, call 425-404-2230 or email katelyn.rushing@cancer.org.

Seattle Breast Center offers free breast prosthesis, wigs and hats to cancer patients, all obtained by donation; wigs are washed and styled by cosmetology students at Shoreline Community College. For details, call 206-368-1608.

Susan G. Komen Puget Sound offers low-cost and no-cost mammogram screenings, available in Snohomish, Skagit and Island counties through Citrine Health at 888-651-8931.

The American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery Program provides free transportation to and from cancer treatments. For more information, call 800-227-2345.

Cleaning for a Reason partners with maid services to offer professional house cleanings to help women undergoing treatment for cancer. Find local providers here.

Angel Care Breast Cancer Foundation offers free emotional support for breast cancer patients in Washington state. For more information, call 206-417-3484.
