Marysville man wins pickup in lottery
Brian Williams failed to win when he initially scratched off the "Trucks and Bucks" ticket, but he entered it into a second-chance drawing. A lottery official called to tell Williams he was the first-prize winner.
Williams picked up the truck from the Roy Robinson dealership on Sept. 23. Williams told lottery officials that it would replace his family's SUV and the new truck would be useful for when it snows around the hills near their home.
Williams, a computer technician, and his wife buy lottery tickets often. They previously won $1,000 on two separate occasions on scratch tickets, but winning a new truck is their biggest prize yet, according to the Washington Lottery.
