OMAK, Wash. — The Omak Wood Products plywood mill has reopened after being closed for four years.
The mill peels logs for plywood veneer. It’s owned by the Confederate Tribes of the Colville Reservation and operated by the Wood Resources company, which also operates a plywood mill in Shelton.
The company has hired 87 workers at the Omak mill and may employ as many as 200.
