Everett Philharmonic covers Russian greats

    Violinist James Garlick

Everett Philharmonic Orchestra will present "Russian Romance," music by Russian greats including Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky at 7 p.m. Saturday at Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave., Everett.
Director Paul-Elliott Cobbs will conduct the program, featuring Concerto No 1 for Violin in D Major by Sergeu Prokofiev and Symphony No. 5 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
Violinist James Garlick is the special guest.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m. A stageside chat with Cobbs and Garlick will begin at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $25 general, $20 for students, through the orchestra at www.everettphil.org or brownpapertickets.com.
