BrewFest on tap in Snohomish

The third annual Snohomish BrewFest will be held Oct. 25 and 26 at the Snohomish Event Center. Three tasting events will take place: 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 25 and noon to 4 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 26.
Admission is $30 a session, which covers five tastes and the sausage dinner; you can purchase more tasting tokens at the event.
A $50 VIP ticket covers all three tasting events, with 10 tasting tokens and two sausage dinners. A $10 designated driver admission covers dinner.
Each session will have its own entertainer: Lem Pratt and the Hard Road Band will play bluegrass and country from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 25; Barbi Anaka performs jazz and soul from noon to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 26; and the Charlatans, a classic rock 'n' rock cover band, play from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 26.
Participating breweries include 7 Seas Brewing Co., Anacortes Brewery, Diamond Knot Brewing, Elysian Brewing, Mac and Jack's Brewing Co. and Scuttlebutt Brewing Co. The event center is at 1011 Second St., Snohomish. For more information or to buy tickets, see www.snohobrewfest.com.
