Streamside Landowners Workshop: The Snohomish Conservation District and Snohomish County Surface Water Management hosts a free workshop from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at Eagle Creek Elementary, 1216 E. Dahlias: Meerkerk Gardens is holding a workshop at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 12 on digging, dividing and storing dahlias. with John Willson, founder of Swede Hill Dahlia Sunflower Farm and Larry Childs, grower at Baby Island Dahlias. Mukilteo Lighthouse Quilters: The monthly meeting features award-winning quilter Kathy McNeil at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, 4514 84th St. SW, Mukilteo. Rhodie care: The Komo Kulshan Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society presents at talk by agronomist Alan Yoder of fertilization at their meeting at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17.
