Weekend reading: It's an avalanche of sharks
Let's start off with this. Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the snow ...
My favorite part of this is the very earnest delivery of the line "They swim through the snow like other sharks swim through water."
My other favorite thing (I guess I couldn't choose just one) was this comment on the video: "How is this movie not called Sharkalanche. Someone needs to lose their job."
And for the record, yes, this does appear to be a real made-for-TV movie. It even has an IMDB page.
If you want something a more serious about sharks, check out this fascinating site. It show research tracking sharks. You can pick an individual shark and see where they've been. Check out Mary Lee. She apparently surfaces a lot, so her trail is especially fascinating. (To see where she's been, scroll to the bottom of the window and click "Where have I been?")
And finally, because apparently I'm all about sharks this week, is this. You can swim with the sharks at the Tacoma zoo. I am doing this ASAP. You can read a story about it here.
Now let's continue with the absurd and entertaining. At last check, this video had more 108 million views on YouTube. That many people can not be wrong.
And because I'm sure you are now wondering what sounds a fox DOES make, here you go.
Now for the last thing, here's a video closer to home, 15 seconds of beauty at Stevens Pass.
