The Mukilteo School District has scheduled two public meetings this week to discuss projects that may be included in a construction bond proposal to be presented to voters in February.
The meetings will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at Voyager Middle School, 11711 4th Ave. W in south Everett, and at 7 p.m. Thursday at Harbour Pointe Middle School, 5000 Harbour Pointe Blvd. in Mukilteo.
The district is expected to ask the school board to approve a package of projects that includes the construction of a new elementary school in the Lake Stickney area and the construction of an early-learning center near Fairmount Elementary, said Superintendent Marci Larsen, in a statement.
The bond would also be used to improve technology, modernize facilities and add space for future growth. The package includes projects to improve technology, improve safety and security, modernize facilities, improve energy efficiency, and add other space to accommodate growth.
