Wild, wild Western

Did somebody say "party school"? Western Washington University's president said he is dismayed by Saturday night's drunken riot in Bellingham. While the school faces challenges with abuse of drugs and alcohol by some students, Bruce Shepard said he doesn't want Western to gain the reputation of being a party school.

WWU simply can't handle the thousands and thousands of transfer requests it would get from UW and WSU students.
