LYNNWOOD -- A Lynnwood woman was being held Tuesday at the Snohomish County Jail after reportedly stabbing her boyfriend the day before.
The couple got into a dispute about their relationship about 4:30 p.m. at their home near the 20400 block of 60th Avenue W., according to the arrest report.
A Snohomish County deputy saw the man bloodied and walking in the area. Lynnwood police investigated.
The woman, 35, told police she'd been the victim of unreported domestic violence and was planning to leave the man when a struggle broke out. He reportedly told officers that he was attacked by a stranger.
He suffered a stab wound to the chest. He was taken to a Seattle trauma center and is expected to recover.
Police found a bloody four-and-a-half-inch kitchen knife at the apartment.
The woman was arrested for investigation of first-degree domestic-violence assault, a felony.
