A funeral Mass has been set for Friday afternoon for Perla Iglesias Hernandez, the 14-year-old Cascade High School freshman killed in a traffic accident last week in south Everett.
The service is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2316 180th St SE, Bothell. It is open to everyone.
Perla was walking on a sidewalk near her home Thursday when she was struck by a car after a collision near the intersection of 112th Street SE and Seventh Avenue SE. She died in a Seattle hospital the following day.
A fund to help cover costs of the service and funeral costs has been set up. It is the Perla Hernandez Benevolent Account at BECU, which has an office at 11127 Evergreen Way, Everett.

This public presentation is hosted by the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks.
