Ready to meet some ghouls and goblins? Here are some events happening around Snohomish County for Halloween.

Carving Party and Pumpkin Glow: 3:30 to 5 p.m. Oct. 21 at 1112 First St., Snohomish; pumpkin and snack included with $5 entry; pumpkins go on display on Avenue A at 5 p.m., judging at 5:30 p.m.; 360-568-2333.
Downtown Snohomish Trick-or-Treat: 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 in downtown Snohomish; kids can trick-or-treat at participating businesses; www.historicdowntownsnohomish.org.
Edmonds Trick-or-Treat Night: 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 in downtown Edmonds; family trick-or-treating with costume contest; categories for pets, kids and adults; www.edmonds.wa.
