The children's book "Can't-Wait Willow" is a great vehicle for teaching kids how to make good decisions and author Christy Ziglar ought to know.
Ziglar's a financial planner who in addition to her day job writes books and school programs on financial literacy.
You can meet Ziglar when she signs copies of "Can't-Wait Willow" from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at J. Matheson Gifts, Kitchen and Gourmet.
Willow is on her way to the circus but is tempted by so many treats along the way that she runs out of money and may miss the show. She's given a second chance and learns the value of saying no now in order to save for something better.
Ziglar's next book in the series, "Must-Have Marvin," is due out in the spring.
"Can't-Wait Willow" lists at $14.99.
J. Matheson is at 2615 Colby Ave, Everett. Call 425-258-2287 or see the website www.jmatheson.com for more information.
