Man who died in U.S. 2 crash ID'd

INDEX -- The driver who died in a head-on crash on U.S. 2 east of Index Saturday has been identified as a Federal Way man.
Denis Sokilik, 22, died at the scene, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The crash occurred around 4:15 p.m. Saturday about a mile east of Index.
The 2002 Mercedes Benz Sokilik was driving westbound crossed the center line and crashed into an eastbound Ford F250 pickup truck, according to an accident report. All three people in the pickup were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. They all were from East Wenatchee, ages 70, 64, and 54.
A passenger in Sokilik's car was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. She was described as a Federal Way woman, 22. A trooper said she was pregnant.
The highway was closed for three hours and 45 minutes.
