Book sale in Edmonds
The Friends of the Edmonds Library Annual Book Sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main St., Edmonds.
Browse thousands of donated books, CD’s, and DVD’s of interest to children, teens, and adults.
All proceeds benefit the Edmonds Library.
Flu shots available: Free flu shots are available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion, 5303 228th St. SW.
Funding to support these flu shot clinics is being provided by the Verdant Health Commission program, which serves nearly 240,000 people in the communities of Brier, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Woodway and portions of Bothell and unincorporated Snohomish County.
Find out about new health insurance: A town hall on buying individual health insurance in Washington is scheduled at 6 p.m. today in the auditorium of Swedish/Edmonds, 21601 76th Ave. W, Edmonds.
Dr. Gary Goldbaum, health officer for the Snohomish Health District, will join State Rep. Eileen Cody and 21st District state Reps. Mary Helen Roberts and Marko Liias for a question-and- answer session on the state’s new marketplace to buy health insurance.
