TWIN HARBORS — State officials want clam diggers to remember there’s a limit on how many you can dig up and take home. And even if they don’t exceed the limit, sport fishermen cannot sell their clams.
KXRO radio reports the reminder follows an investigation into a woman who exceeded her daily limit by 41 clams and attempted to sell them on Facebook.
Diggers are limited to 15 clams per day. That’s the first 15 caught, regardless of size or condition. Sales are prohibited because of health concerns.
