SPOKANE — A Spokane County sheriff’s spokesman says a Spokane Valley man accused of fatally shooting a relative is in custody.
The Spokesman-Review reported that Deputy Craig Chamberlin said the man called 911 to report the shooting Tuesday afternoon.
Chamberlin said the two had been arguing when one man went to his car, got a shotgun and fired. The second man died at a hospital.
The newspaper said the victim was believed to be the other man’s brother although deputies did not immediately confirm that.
Neither man was immediately identified.
