The Reunion Theatre kicks off the Christmas season a tad early this year as “Christmas Belles” opens Friday night and runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Nov.10.
So, the Futrelle sisters, y’all know ‘em — Frankie, Twink and Honey Raye — are settin’ up for the big holiday doin’s.
Honey Raye is in charge of the annual program, y’know? But things are all going ca-razy when ol’ Frankie spills the beans about a family secret.
Will Honey Raye be able to pull off the program? Will the Futrelle family feud ruin their holiday?
Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays at the Everett Music Hall Playhouse next to Macy’s at Everett Mall.

“Xanadu” — the successful Broadway musical, not the marginal ’80s movie — opens Friday at Everett Performing Arts Center for a run through Nov. 17.
The campy production, in the hands of the Village Theatre, is lively and colorful, featuring some of the familiar Olivia Newton-John songs along with new numbers by composer/lyricists Jeff Lynne and John Farrar.
The disco era romp includes some much-rehearsed roller skating too, with leads Dane Stokinger and Jessica Skerritt on wheels.

Performances are Wednesdays through Sundays. A discussion will be held after the 2 p.m. matinee on Nov. 9.

McCaw Hall at Seattle Center is celebrating its 10th anniversary Sunday with a free daylong series of events including dance, music and even community participation.
It’ll really be a three-ring circus between live acts and video presentations on three stages.
