Prep girls soccer: Monroe 2, Lake Stevens 1

LAKE STEVENS -- Ashlyn Walker and Cierra Mattern each scored a goal to pace Monroe to a victory over Lake Stevens in a Wesco 4A North match. Jenna Hanson scored the lone goal for the Vikings in the loss.

Goals--Ashlyn Walker (M), Cierra Mattern (M), Jenna Hanson (LS). Assists--Madison Bradley (M), Mckenzie Gillies (M), Sidney Campbell (LS). Goalkeepers--Monroe: Sidney Day. Lake Stevens: Paityn Kaiser and Madison McDonald. Records--Monroe 5-6-1 league, 5-8-1 overall. Lake Stevens 4-9-0, 5-9-0.
