EVERETT — Edmonds-Woodway rushed for 549 yards, over half of which came from Junior Opoku-Mensah who carried the ball 26 times for 280 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a Wesco 4A South victory. MacMcLachan and Nick Venema each added a rushing TD and had 134 and 75 yards on six carries respectively. Warriors quarterback Davis Giles was 6-for-12 passing for 72 yards and a TD. Both of Mariner’s TDs were scored by Joshua Williamson, who had 115 yards on 20 carries. With the win, Edmonds-Woodway goes into its seeding game next Friday at Lake Stevens undefeated.
