OLYMPIA — Gov. Jay Inslee and his wife, Trudi, will be dressed as pirates as they hand out candy at the governor’s mansion on Halloween.
Trick-or-treaters are invited to come to the mansion, next to the Capitol, on Thursday, Oct. 31 between 6 p.m. and 7:30, according to Inslee spokesman Jaime Smith.
In previous years, Inslee’s predecessor, Gov. Chris Gregoire, and her husband dressed up as characters from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” “Charlotte’s Web,” “Happy Feet,” “Dora the Explorer,” “Toy Story” and “The Addams Family.”
