Regarding the article, “Woman in Reardon affair wants $750K from county”: I’m appalled at the claim Ms. Dutton has filed with the county. “I have suffered severe emotional distress”? Come on, how about the distress she has caused to family, friends and the public from choosing to start and carry on an affair for multiple years? Her claim to be humiliated by such minor actions as not being on the same elevator? Grow up! When they both (Mr. Reardon and Ms. Dutton) chose to have an affair and break the vows, a contract, of marriage, they need to accept the fact that they are in the wrong and her guilt is the reason she blames others for your actions. Take the high road, stop trying to get money from the taxpayers, and just do her job. If she feels that people are ostracizing her, she needs to look in the mirror and realize she did something wrong and accept the punishment.
I’m tired of people not taking responsibility for themselves and using the system to get money for “emotional distress.” Is $750k going to cure all this? Apparently her split of the $500k wasn’t enough. She is already on administrative leave (getting paid while off?) so my opinion is if its so bad there then stop whining and move on.
