Tuesday Seahawks links

A day later, Monday night’s game isn’t any less weird to process. The Seahawks were a mess in a lot of ways, yet they won on the road again. That’s Seattle’s fourth win on the road, one more that it had all of last season, and it keeps the Seahawks in good shape in their quest to earn home-field advantage in the playoffs.

With that in mind, there’s plenty out there to read about Seattle’s 14-9 win.

From the blog last night, my takeaways from the game.

Lots of good coverage from the News Tribune here and from the Seattle Times here.

Danny O’Neil of 710 ESPN Seattle says despite winning, the Seahawks have real issues up front.

Robert Klemko of says the Seahawks looked awfully flawed for a Super Bowl contender.’s Will Brinson, however, was less harsh, saying at road win over a division opponent, “even a sloppy one—should be celebrated.”

ESPN Stats & Info looks at the numbers, while ESPN’s Terry Blount says Seattle’s O-line play needs to improve.

For the view from the other side, here’s the St Louis Post-Dispatch’s coverage.
