Prep volleyball: Meadowdale 3, Glacier Peak 2

LYNNWOOD -- Julianna Falk and Michaela Meyer each had 12 kills as Meadowdale beat Glacier Peak to earn a share of the Wesco 3A South championship. Tara Fishback added 45 assists for the Mavericks, who finished tied for first with Mountlake Terrace at 8-1, but will enter the 3A district tournament as the No. 2 seed due to the Hawks' regular-season victory over the Mavericks. Glacier Peak's Julia Stephanchenko had 14 kills and 27 digs. The Grizzlies also qualified for the district tournament as the No. 6 seed.

Meadowdale: Julianna Falk 12 kills; Michaela Meyer 12 kills; Amy Rickel 22 digs; Tara Fishback 45 assists. Records--Glacier Peak 4-5 league, 6-9 overall. Meadowdale 8-1, 11-3.
