Associated Press
ANACORTES -- The Washington State Patrol says a 17-year-old girl was killed and her 17-year-old sister and an 18-year-old girl injured in a collision on Highway 20 Thursday afternoon near Anacortes.
The patrol says all three teens are from Oak Harbor. The 17-year-old sister was driving the car with the other two teens as passengers. The driver was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition. The 18-year-old was taken to Island Hospital in Anacortes in serious condition.
Troopers say their car was hit by a car driven by a 53-year-old Oak Harbor man that crossed the center line on a curve. He also was injured in the crash and taken to the Anacortes hospital.
