Cascade beats Monroe to wrap up district No. 3 seed

Bruins face SPSL South No. 2 Auburn Riverside in quad-districts; Bearcats travel to No. 1-ranked Camas

MONROE -- Cascade quarterback Josh Smith ran the ball 26 yards for the go-ahead score with 3:01 remaining in the 4th quarter, leading the Bruins to a comeback victory over Monroe in a Wesco 4A game. Cascade running back Malik Rackliff finished with 182 yards on 24 carries and one rushing touchdown to pace the Bruins, who earned the 4A District 1 No. 3 seed and a date with Auburn Riverside in the quad-district playoffs. Bearcats quarterback Andrew Zimmerman threw for 192 yards on 12-of-29 passing and two TDs in the loss. Monroe travels to play Camas next week.
