Trooper injured in Stevens County U-turn

SPOKANE -- A Washington State Patrol trooper was injured in a collision Wednesday night on Highway 395 in Stevens County.
KXLY-TV reported that the trooper was making a U-turn to pursue a driver when he was rear-ended.
The trooper was treated at a hospital for neck pain and released. The other driver and a passenger also were taken to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
