Is it time to start untangling and testing the Christmas lights already?
Home Depot thinks so. Between now and Sunday you can trade your incandescent holiday lights, working or burned out, for a $3- to $5-coupon toward the purchase of LED string lights.
Energy Star LED lights last longer, use less wattage and are cool to the touch, reducing the risk of fire, according to www.energystar.gov.
The holiday lights are now available in warm white as well as the brights: blue, red, yellow, green, orange and white.
