Oh my, Canada

Now with 200 percent more Rob Ford: The Canadian train wreck continued Thursday with Toronto Mayor Rob Ford using vulgar terms to deny pressuring a female city employee for oral sex, threatening to sue former staffers who talked to police about his drug and alcohol use and admitting to drinking and driving but announcing he was getting professional help.

Just a reminder to Hizzoner: Hiring a prostitute is not the same as "getting professional help."

--

What's Richie Incognito's number? Much of yesterday's embarrassments occurred while Ford was wearing cowboy boots and the jersey of the Toronto Argonauts Canadian Football League team. A team spokesman said the mayor's choice of attire was "particularly disappointing."

Ford apologized and said that in the future when making embarrassing statements he would wear more appropriate clothing, such as a Miami Dolphins jersey.

Check your local listings: Ford and his brother, Doug, who is a city council member, have agreed to do a weekly current events television show called "Ford Nation" on the Sun News Network.

For an idea of the type of show the Brothers Ford will do, imagine Glenn Beck's Fox News show, but with more humility.
