SEATTLE — Seattle Fire officials say four people have been pulled from the water after a boat capsized off Seattle. One has life-threatening injuries after spending an extensive time in the frigid waters near Alki Beach.
Coast Guard Petty Officer George Degener says the 30-foot aluminum boat capsized around 2 p.m. Friday while the commercial vessel was conducting a dive survey.
It is not yet known what caused the boat to overturn.
Fire officials say the injured man was transported to Harborview Medical Center. Degener did not have any details on the medical condition of the other three people pulled from the water.
