WA police cadets broke rule, but didn't cheat
The Washington State Patrol investigation determined the rule violation didn't rise to the level of cheating or dishonesty.
The Seattle Times reports 25 of the 30 recruits received a written reprimand that will be provided to their law enforcement agencies to consider for further action. The academy said the five who were not reprimanded would not have reasonably known they had prohibited material.
Academy Executive Director Sue Rahr said the continuing investigation would include a second class implicated in sharing test questions on a computer thumb drive.
