SPOKANE — Nine mountain bikes worth thousands of dollars were stolen from a locked trailer at a fire station in Spokane’s Hillyard neighborhood.
The bikes were used by medics in large crowd events like Hoopfest and the Bloomsday run.
Assistant Fire Chief Brian Shaffer told KREM the bikes were 15 years old, but it could cost $10,000 to replace and equip them.
Police are investigating the Wednesday night theft.
