SEATTLE — The coldest weather of the season so far chilled Washington overnight with low temperatures early Thursday mostly in the 20s in Western Washington and teens in Eastern Washington.
Meteorologist Gary Schneider at the National Weather Service office in Seattle says it’s below normal but not record-setting for this time of year.
Some early morning temperatures were 31 at Sea-Tac Airport, 28 at Everett, 23 at Bellingham, 21 at Olympia, 16 at Spokane, 20 at Wenatchee, 21 at Walla Walla, 12 at Yakima and 11 at Ellensburg, Moses Lake and Tri-Cities.
Schneider says cold, dry weather is likely to continue for several days. He says temperatures should rise a bit and the dry spell could last to Thanksgiving Day.
